Chatfield Junior Wrestling

We are excited to have you join the program!  We are looking forward to another great season of wrestling!

Information Update

Ø      Regular practice is on Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm We will assess after the season gets going.

Ø      No special gear needed for practices, wear comfortable shorts and t-shirt, and socks if you do not have wrestling shoes

Ø      A water personal bottle is recommended for hydration at practice

Ø      Watch the website every week for information updates and tournament information

Ø      Tournaments are on Sunday, with weigh in on Saturday.  Tournament fees range from $12-14 for each tournament

Ø      Parent support is what makes youth wrestling work!  Each team is asked to help with timing & scoring at tournaments.  Don’t worry - We will show you how!

Important Dates

Ø     Parent Information Meeting!  - Thursday, November 6^th, 5:30 pm.  This is an important time for parents to meet the coaches and get information about wrestling, the season, and get questions you might have answered. 

Ø     Gear Night! – Thursday, November 6^th 6:00 pm.  This is our opportunity to buy headgear and wrestling shoes, from our local vendor.  They will be onsite at practice this night!

Ø     Spirit Wear! – There is a link on the website to connect you to Denver Athletic  where you can order Chatfield gear – great for holiday gifts too!

Ø     Team Pictures! – Tuesday, December 4^th, 6:00 pm.  Please come!  Wrestlers wear your Chatfield t-shirt and shorts or wrestling singlet

Ø     Chatfield Tournament  - Sunday December 21^st.  Mark your calendars!  We will need all the parent, sibling, and volunteer help we can get for Saturday and Sunday December 20 & 21
