We will have a few "used" items available such as wrestling shoes at a reduced price @ registration, and @ the first week of practice. Proceeds go into the team fund.
New team singlets will be available to purchase at the first night of practice, and a representative from Coach's Choice will be outside the wrestling room Thur., 11/6/08 @ 6pm with other new equipment. (following the Parent meeting)
A new wrestler purchasing all brand new equipment could expect to spend $90 - $120 above the registration fee on needed items, plus another $30-$150 for tournaments (2-10) for a total of ~$250- $420. (still far less than entry into most other sports if you consider gear, team fees, etc) A returning wrestler who does not need new gear is looking at a max total of $270. We hope to be able to provide scholarships and/or equipment from our tournament proceeds for those who need it. Please talk to me if the cost is an issue.
